Jim Carey is the “Yes Man” who is negative about everything, and his friends finally call him on it. These friends try to convince him there’s a different way to run his life. The first half of this movie is really brilliant as Jim Carey is the Jim Carey we love which is physical humor, with an absolutely elastic face, and it’s quite a pleasure to watch. Terrence Stamp is fabulous as a guru who tries to convince Jim there’s a different way to lead his life. The second half of the movie doesn’t really know what to do but for the first half it’s a four. The second half of the movie is ultimately a two so I’d give it an overall three stars.
