VOCA PEOPLE has five very talented men and three women, although you can’t necessarily tell at first blush who are the men and who are the women because everybody’s dressed in white suits with turtle necks. The men all have white ties — fairly observant on my part — and they’re covered with gloves and white shoes and white hoods. It’s kind of Blue Man Tube, except they’re white. They are terrifically vocally blessed and do a combination of show tunes and music history and all sorts of things. They’re really incredibly talented and great fun to watch. The show, at 90 minutes, is probably about 10 or 15 minutes longer than it should be, and there’s about 10 or 15 minutes when you think everything sounds the same, but the rest of it is just pure, lovely kind of entertainment. The audience loved it! They’re terrifically good at interacting with the audience, and you’ll love it too. Four stars.
