Uncle Vanya – Theater Review

Meet Uncle Vanya, the quintessential superfluous man, who wakes up one morning to discover he has wasted his life in the service of others. Experience Chekhov’s tragicomic masterpiece of dashed dreams, thwarted love, and eternal longing.

“Everyone says they love Chekov, I mean I don’t particularly love Chekov—but this is one of the more accessible Chekov’s that you will ever see. He was one of the first of the naturalistic playwrights—instead of looking a Kings and Queens; he looked at ordinary people. This one has got a great cast and is in a great space. I thought this was really fun.”
