Transformers – Movie Review
“Transformers: Revenger of the Fallen”– Two years have passed since Sam Witwicky and the AUTOBOTS saved the human race from the invading DECEPTICONS–And now he’s ready to fight again.
“TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN”. When you go to see Transformers, you are not going to see Hamlet, you’re going to see things blown up and machines turning back into cars or cars turning into machines or whatever. I mean, this is a movie that’s actually based on a toy. The first half hour of this movie are really five stars. Great characters, good acting, lots of noise, lots of excitement and fun, especially if you haven’t seen a Transformer transform. However, two and a half hours into this, you’re a little bored. You’ve seen all the transformations, your ears are completely numb and there’s precious little acting, there is one wonderful scene in the desert, I don’t want to spoil very much for you. But unfortunately, the five stars get a little down to a two because you’re just bored with all the stuff going on. It should’ve been 20 minutes shorter. Shia LaBeouf is still adorable and sexy as is Tyrese Gibson. It’s basically the same cast it was before. Megan Fox is, of course, the hottie. But you don’t go to this for either Shia or Megan, you go for the Transformers to transform. At the beginning, you can figure out that the good Transformers, the good Autobots, have English accents. But then the Decepticons have them too. So then you just get confused and telling one robot from another becomes almost impossible at the end. So two stars, but do see the first half, you’ll love it.
