The Time Traveler’s Wife
The Time Traveler’s Wife – Movie Review
“The Time Traveler’s Wife” is based on the best-selling book about a love that transcends time.
“The Time Traveler’s Wife” is based on a beloved book in which Clare, who’s played by Rachel McAdams, has loved Henry, who’s Eric Bana since she was a little girl, and the idea is that he through a genetic abnormality or mutation, under stress travels back and forth through time naked. Thank goodness he’s Eric Bana, got a cute body I mean think if it was Seth Rogen in the old days. So, even though they’re clearly in love with each other, he disappears back and forth. It’s kind of romantic, and I suppose in some ways, the idea is that we’re always time traveling where we’re going back and forward in our memory about who some body is and how long we’ve loved them and worries about leaving them. It’s a little heavy duty, it’s a little schmaltzy, what can I tell you. It’s something that should be kind of a confection. Turns out to be kind of overdone strudel, so I think only two stars here even though I like both of the characters.
