The Perfect Age of Rock and Roll

JOY REVIEW

This is a film with Jason Ritter and Kevin Zegers and what we have is a flashback of a rock and roll guy. We’ve seen it sort of before. I liked it. I didn’t love it, but I liked it. I thought some of the stuff was fun. The idea is that the glam star, heavy on mascara and eye liner, goes and steals his smarter, less flamboyant friends songs and becomes a rock star and tells it all to Lucas Haas. Peter Fonda is in this, looking Peter Fonda-esque. I sort of liked it; you’ve seen it before but it was kind of fun to hear rock and roll and there’s probably a whole generation that doesn’t know about all the ins and outs of rock bands. I give it three stars.
