The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.
The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.- Movie Review
Used-car liquidator Don Ready is hired by a flailing auto dealership to turn their Fourth of July sale into a majorly profitable event.
“THE GOODS; LIVE HARD, SELL HARD” is the summer escapist stuff, cotton candy for sweaty evenings. You’ve seen it before, but it actually is not badly done, it was surprisingly enjoyable. Jeremy Piven, is not exactly charismatic, but he is fast talking from convincing the stewardess to let him smoke on the plan to getting rid of 211 cars on James Brolin’s lot. A lot of predictable kinds of situations, but the cast is good, and for a summer sort of brain freeze, this will do ya. Three stars.
