Longtime friends Ronny (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Kevin James) are partners in an auto-design firm. They are hard at work on a presentation for a dream project that would really launch their company. Then Ronny spots Nick’s wife out with another man
Dilemma stars Vince Vaughn and Kevin James; Kevin is married to Winona Ryder and Vince is romancing Jennifer Connolly, who are both very attractive women, and the idea is that these two guys have been best friends forever. Vince accidentally discovers that his best friend’s wife seems to be having an affair and struggles with whether he should tell him. Given the fact that this is something I deal with everyday on the air and the answers in the movie are both contorted and impossible and stupid, and the whole plot sort of hangs on that turn, they should have asked me instead of making fun of human dilemmas and human pain which is not funny. I found this movie a real disappointment. It has a possibility of either being a comedy or a serious look at what you do in this real life situation. By trying to combine the two, I thought it was a mess and uncomfortable. Both of them were really fairly unpleasant and disgusting, it just was an unhappy movie. The only thing I really liked is the notion of an electric car that has the vroopum, vroopum of muscle cars. I thought that was a great idea. So I give this one star.
