The A-Team – Movie Review
A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.
The A-Team is a remake of the TV shows, the daring and colorful special forces soldiers go rogue. This one has got Liam Neeson , Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson and my favorite of the four, and District Nine’s Sharlto Copley who steals the movie from all of the above as well as Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson. The plot is — Do we care about the plot? is the rogue team come together initially, which takes about five minutes of the opening, which is a pretty interesting opening, and then they’re in Baghdad eight years later, and there’s some missing plates for US $100 bills, and then there’s a double cross. Do we care about any of this? Plot, smot: it’s loud, it’s noisy, it’s violent, it’s fun, and if this is your kind of entertainment, you’ll probably enjoy it. So, I’ll give it three stars just because it absolutely is what it is.
