Tempest – Theater Review
Tony Award-winning actor Mandy Patinkin stars in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, directed by Brian Kulick. Patinkin portrays Prospero, master of a magical isle where shipwrecks, fantastical creatures, mystery, music and romance abound in this redemptive tale that is the capstone of Shakespeare’s legacy.
“Much smaller production than The Tale of Two Cities. The cast is uniformly good, fun to watch, and the scenery is ingenious because its a small intimate stage and it’s enjoyable to watch Shakespeare performed quite similarly to the way it was probably performed. It’s not one of my favorite plays but its quite charming.”
