The original Raid was a thrilling, violent movie about corruption and cops in Korea and that one was 100 minutes, Raid 2 DOUBLES that at 2 hours and 28 minutes. Raid 2 is MUCH longer and MUCH more violent and I don’t know why they called it Raid 2, other than the fact that it was made by the same people who wanted to get the same audience, because in terms of violence, this might the most violent movie you will see in your life, interms of body count, there has to 500-600 people. Its got one of the more thrilling car chases that you’ve ever seen. It is incredibly violent and incredibly well done, if you can use ‘violent’ and ‘well done’ in the same sentence, to the extent that someone in the audience, when one of the adversaries gets his face pressed repeatedly onto a Benihana-like grill, screams “best movie ever”, and then at the car chase, stood up and threw both of fists to the heavens. So again, it is incredibly violent, and the violence is so over-the-top, that you become almost desensitized to it, but still very well done. 4 stars.
