A young man’s untimely death unites a fractured family and their community through shared memory and loss.
Putty Hill is obviously something that is very passionate for the director, Matt Porterfield, who was raised in Baltimore. This is the story of his community. The idea is that everybody is getting together at a karaoke bar to remember a young man who passed away. I really found this somewhat self-indulgent and not the least bit interesting so I would give it half a star.
