Pick of the Week!
The Monty Python documentary is going to be on IFC for the next couple of weeks, and I think it’s going to be released theatrically as well, and what I should tell you is don’t miss it. Admittedly, I saw it in a fabulous theater with a great sound system with the Pythons there. Yay. Everybody except obviously Graham Chapman who has died. Although, they did bring a cardboard cutout of him. I loved the documentary even before I got to meet the entire cast. These are a bunch of really smart people, and the documentarian was smart enough to just let them talk interspersing with some hilarious skits from the Pythons. To be quite honest, I’m not necessarily a huge fan. I thought Spamalot was kind of stupid, but I was still fascinated. It’s a great documentary. At least four stars. If you add the fact that I got to meet them all, okay five stars. Okay, I sell out cheaply.
