Monsters Vs. Aliens
Monsters Vs. Aliens – Movie Review
When a meteorite from outer space hits a young California girl named Susan Murphy and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years. As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. Monger, on a desperate order from The President, the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to combat the aliens and save the world from imminent destruction!
“Monsters Versus Aliens” is the latest Blockbuster animation from Dream Works, with an incredibly talented voice cast, including Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Seth Rogen, Steven Colbert, Kiefer Sutherland and Paul Rudd. The story focuses on the U.S. government locking up monsters for 50 years. Poor Reese becomes a monster on her wedding day when an asteroid smacks into her, and makes her a gigantic girl. The rest of the monsters, I’ll let you discover on your own. Poor Reese is now 49 feet eleven inches tall and her boyfriend, Derek Dietel, the weather boy, voiced by Paul Rudd, is not thrilled. But not to worry, all is well. And the monsters have to save planet earth from the aliens who are coming to destroy the planet. This is all done in 3D. Your kids will love it. It’s smart enough for adults, and it will make gobs of money, at least four stars.
