Little Doc – Theater Review
Four childhood friends find themselves in a life-threatening situation that challenges the validity of the virtues they’ve adopted from a sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll culture.
The Rattlestick Theater is very avant-garde. Sometimes a little to cutesy for it’s own good. This is one of the ones that I think didn’t work very well and I can’t figure out if it’s the writing or the acting or what. The story is about four friends who are all sex, drugs, and rock and roll. One of them owes some money and when somebody comes to collect, it takes their friendships and puts it into sharp relief. The problem is you don’t care enough about any of the characters to give a hoot or a holler about any of it. I don’t think this is worth your time, and I hate to badmouth theater but this one is no stars.
