JOY’S REVIEW

Kill The Irishman is a great story badly told. It stars Ray Stevenson as Danny Greene who was a big player in Cleveland in the late 70s when there were 36 bombs detonated in a turf war between the Irish mafia and the Italian mafia. So it’s based on a true story. It’s got a great cast as I said, it stars Ray Stevenson, Vincent D’onofrio with Val Kilmer and Christopher Walken and a whole bunch of other people that will pop up and I don’t want to spoil the surprise by telling you who they are. But its a great story, it’s just ploddingly badly told. So for the story, I’d give it probably five stars. For the way that it was done, maybe two. So I’d give the whole movie maybe three.
