Documentary telling the compelling story of the 40th Irish Dancing World Championships.
Jig is really a delight, especially if you like Irish dancing and who among us does not? We get to see it from a worldwide perspective and it’s one of those documentaries that have become more and more common where you get to know some of the participants, and you get to then see the final competition. You get to root for your particular person. I suppose — well it’s not even American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. It’s what talent shows have always been except that we get to know the kids a little bit better. This one’s really a delight. The kids are varied and the competitions are varied and it was just really fun to watch. Four stars.
