In Time stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy. It’s set some time in the future where, through genetic mutations, nobody ages past 25 but they then only get another year to live after that. So the idea is that time becomes more important than anything else. It’s sort of an interesting concept and one of the sort of cool things they get to do is nobody in the movie is more than 25 years old, so Justin Timberlake’s mom is a hottie, even though she’s 50, though I suppose they can still be 50 hotties. But any rate, it made for a lovely group of people. I actually liked the first half of the movie a lot. I thought it was an interesting concept how people traded off time. I think the movie would have worked much better if they switched Cillian Murphy and Justin Timberlake for their roles as the bad guy and as the timekeeper. Justin Timberlake, I think, is not a bad actor and he’s certainly eye candy, but he’s got that little squeaky voice. Amanda Seyfried is gorgeous, bad wig, and clearly they’re set for a sequel but I thought this was surprisingly fun. I give it three stars.
