Hedda Gabler – Theater Review
A woman of dangerous independence restrained by a conventional marriage, the newly married Hedda (Mary-Louise Parker) mourns the freedom and excitement of her former life by indulging in a cruel game, amusing herself with the misfortune she inflicts on those around her.
I think this is a misinterpretation of Hedda Gabler. But certainly no one would argue that Mary-Louise Parker is not a talented actress. So, if you’re a Mary-Louise Parker fan you might want to go see Hedda. If you’re a Hedda Gabler fan, you may not want to.
