DeadGirl -Movie Review
Genre-busting, more like ball-busting, cause of debate, described as “an odyssey into the soul of our alienated youth”. A no-holds-barred look at the horror of growing up.
“Dead Girl” is one of those films that I am afraid if I tell you about, you will have some perverse desire to go see, and let me assure you, you should not go see it. It is a waste of time. Two high school kids who are friends with each other, but nobody else, decide to play hookey and find themselves in some kind of weird mental hospital, and they find a woman who’s body has been stripped naked and chained to a table and covered in plastic. It is a disgusting mess to begin with. Well, they respond differently. One decides they now have a sex slave, and they have to decide what they are willing to be true with. This is a perverted, unpleasant, stupid, badly acted, badly shot, I guess vaguely “vampiric” movie that is not worth anybody’s time or effort. They describe it as daringly original, genre busting. It is not, it’s just a crappy film. Zero stars.
