In Coraline, a young girl walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life—a better version. But when this wonderously off-kilter, fantastical adventure turns dangerous and her “Other” parents try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination and bravery to get back home.

“The animation was the best part about this film—it was wonderful in a dark kind of way. But the storyline is too scary for kids. Do not take small kids to this. A secret door in the family’s new house opens a unusual parallel world to young Coraline—that involves eyes being removed and then replaced with buttons—your kids will never go to sleep again, I’m having trouble sleeping.” Out this week on DVD!
