Broadway By the Year (1966)
Broadway By the Year (1966) – Theater Review
Featuring iconic musicals including Cabaret, Mame, Sweet, I Do! I Do!, and the Apple Tree.
This is hosted, written and created by my friend, Scott Siegel, so I need to tell you that up front. But these Broadway by the Years are really terrific. They happen about once a month during the spring. The last one will be in June on a Monday night because they have a lot of Broadway people in it. And the next one is going to be the two decades of 1990 to 2010 and one Broadway song every year, 21 songs. So, this one was the Broadway musicals of 1966, including Cabaret, Sweet Charity, Mame, I Do! I Do!, and The Apple Tree. So this was some songs that are instantly recognizable. And I had the usual great time that I always have, so I give this routinely four or five stars just because it’s fun to be there. The tickets are $45 or $50, so you should really check your calendar, check out Broadwaybytheyear.com and order ahead. Four stars.
