Blood: The Last Vampire
Blood: The Last Vampire – Movie Review
A teenage “halfling” uses her samurai skills and superhuman strength in a centuries-old quest to rid the world of vampires.
“Blood, The Last Vampire” is kind of predictable from the title. The acting is awful, the special effects are laughable, but it has its own endearing kind of charm. A young woman who appears to be a 16-year-old high school student, is really a 400-year-old vampire and fights the demons, and she may be part demon. Is this sounding familiar? If it is, you’ve probably seen a lot of these movies. If it’s not, you’re probably not even going to see this one. But, it does have some great combat sequences that are very balletic, and as I said, it’s sort of an endearingly charming even though it’s kind of silly, the dialogue is awful, and the acting is ridiculous, but it does have its own particular charm if you like watching demons being slashed in slow motion. Three Stars.
