Beyond Therapy is a play by Christopher Durang that deals with bisexuality and therapy. It is a little dated, it was written at a time where bisexuality was considered higly questionable, homosexuality was sort of frowned upon, therapy, at least for the masses, was considered somewhat iffy, and therapists were even more iffy then the concepts that they are now. It is a very talented cast, and a women is trying to find a date in the world of bisexual men. I thought it was fun, it is very well written and the cast is terrific, but it has some legitimate issues. One thing that is really interesting, is how much music from the 80s still resonates, but plays don’t necessarily, 3.5 stars.
