An average guy makes a resolution to stop using plastic bags at the grocery store. Little does he know that this simple decision will change his life completely. He comes to the conclusion that our consumptive use of plastic has finally caught up to us, and looks at what we can do about it. Today. Right now.

Bag It is a great documentary that is sponsored by the Whole Foods Film Festival  talking about the ubiquitous single-use thin plastic bag, which is ruining the ocean, animals, the economy. It’s a terrific and upsetting and alarming documentary, which everybody should see. And what we can do about it is we should all stop using those damn things. We shouldn’t load our garbage into them anymore, and we should use our own cloth bags, which Whole Foods actually began doing, because it will change the world as quickly as anything else. Not only will it not use petroleum, not only does it not use landfill, these things aren’t biodegradable and they end up in the ocean. This is a terrific documentary.
