Carbon Nation doesn’t waste time arguing that climate change is real and caused by humans, the film steps right into what can be done about it. The main theme — that it makes simple, good business sense to use energy more efficiently and to find alternatives to fossil fuels — is developed on economic arguments.
Carbon Nation …Okay, get the pun? Like carbonation except Carbon Nation, is the latest in the documentaries about global warming and this one basically starts up saying you don’t actually have to believe in global warming to understand how we can do things better. One reason I like this documentary, even though you’ve seen a lot of this stuff before, is it actually has believe it or not a sense of humor, so you actually feel somewhat inspired as opposed to so depressed that you just want to go out and shoot a plant. It also comes up with some specific suggestions at the end. So as far as global warming and documentaries goes, it gets three and a half stars.
